The collaborative performance «Pessoas» proposed a one-to-one dialogue: from space to space, from person to person. In three different spaces of the gallery, the artists dealt with the relationship between the private and the public spheres: While Nathalie S. Fari was reading from the book “Space Studies” by Rudolf Laban in a small gallery window, Ricardo de Paula was sleeping in a bathtub, which also served as a frame for displaying a video with different interviews (Alex Flemming, Martin Reimann and Rainer Ernst). In the third space, Wagner Schwartz was lying naked on a couch communicating face-to-face with the spectators. In that way, the gallery space was reinvented as a type of „cartography” by not only touching upon one’s own biography as a migrant, black body, or queer, but also by creating a public sphere around these topics.
