Screen_Space Valand

A glimpse into my documentation process during a new case study in Gothenburg, part of the pilot phase of my postdoctoral project Rendering–Embodying Urban Screen Spaces. This project explores how near-body technologies – such as smartphones and action cameras – can be used to critically engage with and reimagine our screen-saturated urban landscapes. It not only responds to current debates around digital embodiment and the societal impacts of screen time, but also investigates how mediated screen interactions can become tools for audiovisual experimentation and the reactivation of public space.
